Having a Ball at Ball State
Well folks it has officially began again. I am very sorry that this is the first time that I have been able to sit down and write, but it has been very busy. Anyway, everything is moving very smoothly. The room is looking really good plus I have met a lot of good people. My RA has been very helpful about everything and I think it will be a awesome year. If there is one thing you should know about him, it is that he is very philosophical. He has really inspirational and is a really cool guy. I really am impressed at how he is able to make me think about things. I think I will learn a lot about myself in my time with him. To the reason I was here. I moved in on Saturday as a part of the opening committee (aka committe). At first I really did not know what I had gotten myself into, but I am really glad that I was a part of this group. The individuals I have met have been very unique and so supportive. If you are wondering what we did as a group, it was quite simple. We are the staff that makes sure that everyone arrives at Ball State and has a happy experience moving in. We made sure rooms were ready and decorated the hall. I think it came together very well and I will have several memories from this week. From nicknames to watching other halls get into fights, it has all made move-in great. I should probably do some more academic prep work. As always...Stay Classy!
